My Haul & Experience

Sooo... I gave in again,

& went shopping. 

My lovviee had some extra money...

& he took me shopping.

I wanted some lush,

& saw there was one about 30 mins away.

One thing i learned, its def. and hour away...

& its at this really high end "mall"

with saks, nordstrom, like several mac counters,

chanel store, lv, etc.

I was certainly beyond out of my element!
But i was so glad i went!

Got some great things,

& it was an awesome experience.

Not gonna say what i got, for the sake of not ruining my haul

coming up on monday.

But i was so happy to leave that expensive place & go to a dollar store.

LOL!

more my style...

but anyyywho.

I hit my 100 sub mark!

So Tuesday there will be a contest posted on my youtube channel!

exciting!

But i have vids recorded all the way til wed...

then im gonna take a break from uploading at least to try and get more views.

So i'll have a couple days where i won't have to record!!!!

First off,
PHEWWWW.
i am still having upload issues w/yt.
Very frustrating,
so my bf has to do all my uploading.
So anything i record is not up right away.
& i do like multiple because i dont go there everyday.
But i'm getting thru it!
i've started outfits of the day.
I'll be doing like 5 tomorrow again.
& I have 2 on backup...
ready to go up...

All You Magazine!

One definite recommendation that i have for
all of you out there that love saving money,
I urge you to pick up All You Magazine.
This can only be purchased at WalMart since it is there magazine.
It has loads of coupons.
I found one in mine for $5 off a $10 NYC purchase.
There was a $3 off Neutrogena coupon,
$2 off Lubriderm...
It also has more than just beauty coupons!
its a great value.
It ended up only costing me $2.25 or so,
and i already saved twice that with one coupon!!!
The subscription is about $20 a year, if i'm not mistaken.

Amazed!!!

Sooo in the matter of like this week,
I'm up to 46 Subscribers on youtube!
Cannot believe it!
I am soooo thankful!
Its amazing to think!
That little old me,
only doing slideshow things,
got almost 50 subbies!
I hope to get to that 100 mark,
then i'll have a small contest!
I'm sorry i've been neglecting blogging.
The week goes by so quickly.

Plus I've been contemplating

This is like one of my favorite lipsticks!
its beautiful!
Creamy, has a nice staying power.
I wear this like almost like half the week!
i cannot get enough!!!

I definitely see a difference in my skin when i use this!
This has become a must for me each and everyday.

LA Colors Shimmering Loose Eyeshadow
This product can be purchased at any Dollar Tree,

This is a really nice product.
Its very nicely pigmented,
it gives a great shimmery glow, & they have such pretty colors.
My issue is that it has HORRIBLE packaging,
& it comes with a brush that is always so messed up.
The packaging doesn't even seem logical!
But i did find a way around it!
You can pop open the container [after some work]
& store it in your own container!
definitely much better.
So I went and got other colors cause I love it!

Lastly, My final review is on the Smashbox Color Correcting Primer in Green.
I recently got a sample of this at Sephora to try.
So glad I did not buy!!!
I mean it is very soft,
just like every other Smashbox product.
But I didn't notice any difference in my redness,
nor did i see a difference in my foundation application.
I want something that's going to do what its supposed to,
if i pay all that money.

120 Palette Favorites

So finally getting my pictures up of the 120 palette i bought from ebay.
Mostly have good things to say about this.
I love allll the colors they are very smooth,
such good pigmentation...
But the negative about this is that its not by BH cosmetics
or coastal scents so its a little different.
The matte shades are less smooth...
& i really wish the case was made a little different.
But all in all i love it.
Such a great buy.

Here it is....
side one...
Starts at whites, goes to greys and blacks,
then green to blues.
Followed by purple shades.
Then pinks, to reds, to creams and browns...

Second side.
This has a row of marbled shades on the right hand side.
Starting from top goes from blues,
to purples,
then to greens and light greens
then yellows and oranges.


Here are the best swatches i could manage,
six of my favorite shades.
they have no names...

starting at the top,
a dark brown with gold flecks, semi shimmer.
A coppery reddish brown, high shimmer.
Into a bright coral, semi shimmer
a golden yellow, matte.
An irridescent fuschia shade with purplish tints.
Finally a very shimmery dark gray.
I had 12 all together,
but the other picture got deleted.

Keep on Truckin'

Okay so first off...
PHEW!
I am exhausted,
between taking care of the little one,
my mom, doing posts, videos,
& reading up on techniques..
I'M BEAT!!!
I do it all for my readers and subscribers.
[& for myself because i'm in love w/makeup]
I'm feeling like i do all this work,
& no one really cares.
I really appreciate everyone [all 11]
of the people who subscribe to my youtube & the 4 that follow my blog...
but am i doing something wrong here?!?
cause its depressing.
Days and days and still nothing.
Ughhhh...
i guess i'm just kind of in a rut right now...
I suppose.
HOPEFULLY!

I'm still having the issues loading actual recorded videos,
so i'm still doing slides.
& its depressing as well.
Cause i know people don't enjoy that very much.
Well i will just wait and hope.

Busy Busyy

So even though i've been so busy,
I have managed to get 2 new tutorial videos up.
One being my inexpensive foundation routine,
the other my white queen inspired face.

I've only been able to do picture tutorials
because for some reason youtube will not let me
upload any video ones...
boooo.
So until i get this figured out,
thats all i got.
I'm working on getting a VERY small haul done tonight.
Of what i got today,
major clearance prices.
Don't we all love that.
I still promise to do a blog about my 120 palette,
& my top ten favorite shades in it.
Its just been NUTS!

Short but sweeett

Sorry i didn't post yesterday.
Its been a crazy week.
To say the least.
First, i was in the ER Sunday.
Then drama w/my little one.
Then my car got hit...
[whomp whomp, terrrible]
Then had to take my mom to the hospital
this morning.
& she may need surgery.
Its been nuts.
But on the plus, I got my 120 Palette
that i ordered off Ebay on Thursday,
along with my ELF order.
sooo hope to work out the kinks and get a haul video going here.
But last haul i tried to upload it said ERROR!
errrrgggh.
So i did post a tutorial video today,
its all photos,
but its a start!

Haul Video

FINALLY GOT A VIDEO!!!
i feel proud,
even though it is soooo short,
& all pictures.
Its a start.

I first off want to do a review.
I am reviewing Loreal's
Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting base.
Have been using this all week,
before i apply my makeup.
It makes my skin amazingly soft.
& it fills those stubborn pores, lines & such.
It was a very good buy!
I give this product a 10 out of 10.
Will keep this in my collection.
It was about $13 at KMart,
I'm sure it can be purchased at most drugstores.
Haven't done any price comparison.
I mean for $13 it will last a while cause i only use a dime size amount.

Next & finally I'm going to do a review on
Revlon Colorstay Foundation.
I got 2 colors 110 Ivory & 150 Buff, both in normal/dry.
I mix both to make the perfect color.
This definatly gives me more coverage,
than I have ever gotten with any other foundation.
Its a good price,
anywhere between $10 & $13
available at drugstores & large chain stores. [ie target, walmart, kmart]
I purchased mine at Rite Aid, when it was buy one get one!
so i paid $13 for 2.
Still going on til saturday, just an FYI.
I would def give this a 10 out of 10.

yesterday...
I will do a review after i've used it for a week or so..

As well I bought a Loreal cream [primer]
was a good price.
i tried it on my hand, & it was heavenly.
So i'll keep using and reviewing it.
I will do a video in a few days about my elf products i got.
Review/haul.

I only paid 97 cents because i bought travel size.
Wanted to try.
I put this on before makeup and it gives wonderful base.

5.) Elf Mineral Primer

Gives an amazing base,
And fights that horrible crease.
DEFINITELY a go 2 product for me.

6.) Lancome Shimmer Eyeshadow

Its an amazing peachy/gold shadow.
Has such an irridesense.
SOOO beautiful!
Highly pigmented.

I love this.

13.) Calgon Body Lotion

Found this at Big Lots,
Haven't seen it in other stores.
Should have bought more.
It smells amazing.
Just a sweet, sort of warm, vanilla
smelling lotion.
Nice thickness.
Used it everyday since i got it.

Finally some of my very own pictures, this is a collective Dollar Store haul.
Over a couple visits, but still the same found some AMAZING goodies.
first off are these covergirl eyeshadows.
got them in a two pack.
One's in subtle sage, the other is opal dust.
NOW I KNOW WHY.
totally disappointed.
Was going to use as highlight, but they are bad.
i couldn't even get a decent swatch.
glad it was only $1
next is this LA Color Eyeshadow.
This is in Hipnotic.
totally loving this one!
has a highlight and some wonderful blue colors.
heres the swatches.

next are these maybelline Dream Mousse's.
One Bronzer,
one shadow i will be using as a base.
The bronzer is in sun glow,
& the shadow is in lilac cloud!
Very good products,
blend out smooth and nice color.

Next is this LA Colors Mineral


eyeshadow
in Gold.
Very good color, highly pigmented.
I think this will be my go to gold shadow.




I got two LA Colors Shadow palettes.
One in Urban [1st shown]
& Trendy [2nd shown]
They have really good pigmentation for being $1.
I really love the color combos!
You can get many looks from these palettes.
I highly urge you all to check them out.

Just the Beginning...

I would like to first introduce myself.
My Name is Abby.
I'm 23 years old,
have a wonderful 3 year old daughter named Mackenzie [Kenzie for short],
an AMAZING SUPPORTIVE boyfriend Brian.
